I'm working on the global iTunes chart, I want it to show changes compared to the previous day. But on the artist pages, I think it might be too cluttered to have it like
We Found Love
#3 Paraguay (+1)
#4 Colombia (-2)
#4 Guatemala (=)
#5 Costa Rica (=)
#7 Dominican Republic (+15)
#7 Mexico (-6)
#7 Panama (+3)
#8 Cyprus (-4)
#9 Lithuania (+1)
#9 Venezuela (+1)
#10 Chile (+2)
#10 Spain (-2)
(Those movements are fictional.) What do you think? Should the pages have that data and is this a good way to show it?
It's not actually "fake". It's a term people use, to refer to a tacky cover version of a song, or even the original version of a song that's put on iTunes illegally (like that Birthday Cake remix just now).
You don't get them that often in the US, but I remember there was one for You Da One. But you get loads of them in the UK. There's currently a "fake" of Part of Me by Katy Perry at #101 on UK iTunes.
