How do you think the Beyoncé era would have gone if she had planned out the singles before hand and didn't include those videos with the album? For example she would have left off let's say DrIL, Partition, PH, Blow, and Mine . That way there would still be excitement around the album and the songs when she announced each as a single. Plus they would probably chart higher due to streaming

Looking at the latest numbers for releases, Jesus. The industry is not doing too well. J.lo's numbers are damn low, not that she sold before but damn! We are so fortunate that Bey released the way she did because haters would never let us hear the end of it. In such a bad moment in the industry, our fave's album is going 2x Platinum in the US next week and it has not even been a year yet since the release. We should be real happy about this because other fanbases must feel down right now.

Do you honestly think those things matter more than selling 2x platinum in the US only whithin 6 months of release? in this day and age? c'mon let's be real here. Nicki Minaj will NOT sell more than 500K of her album this year, hell i'm being generous (probably 80K first week if she's lucky). The industry is bad right now and not many people are even selling 100K first week and you think singles will help that? nope. Our Queen is good thank you. 2X platinum in the US and going 4X platinum Worldwide before the end of the year. We are good without Nicki Minaj.

Isn't a tour promotion enough? some people going to the tour probably have not purchased the album yet but they probably will after seeing the show and hearing the new music. I'm also pretty sure Beyonce will sell the album with the merchandises during this tour. Sales will probably go up a little after next week. I do think she would have sold more if she did some interviews on talk shows and perform on SNL and stuff but she is probably making more money off tour so she is fine.

Those "stans" saying "Do you think single performance would make BEYONCE sell more?" should be embarrassed for comparing singles artists' sales to Beyonce's. Sure Happy was number 1 for 300 weeks but the album sold 300 copies. Lorde had great music, John Legend had All Of Me, Katy has her hits and all three saw album sales surge.

Are you saying our dear fave is less relevant than those 3 that her successful singles would do nothing for her album sales?

i played the Visual Album on our DVD and left it at the living room. My brother asked me what was the first song that played and i think he hummed for it a little bit.

I actually forced my niece to watch the whole thing but she got freaked out when Haunted started playing. Even DIL's intro got her into hiding
