Welcome castaways to Round 6 of Survivor: ATRL Edition (Season 6)! Let's get started!
The theme for Round 6 is...
The Outsiders ~They're invincible, and she's just in the background~
This round has us focusing on the misfits of society who just don't feel they fit in with the cool crowd. The song you choose to submit this round should involve your artist talking about not feeling they fit in with their peers and therefore feeling alone because of that. Songs like these come in different forms. Some are the artists speaking directly for themselves while others make a general statement from a third-person point of view. It's up to you which route you take. What's important this round is that your song clearly demonstrates the lonely sentiments that come along with being an outsider.
What To Do:
Once your song is selected, PM me the artist and title of your song. You don't have to include a link to the song unless you are sending a specific version of it. There's no explanation needed as your song should speak for itself. If your song requires an explanation to make sense, it's not a good fit.
There are 20 of you playing this round. You guys are bound to submit the same songs at some point and because no one can occupy the same song, I encourage you to send a back-up choice along with your first pick. This applies especially to those who are not around when a round is posted and don't have the luxury of choosing an instant track.
The two castaways staying on Redemption Island may send in a track as usual. A duel will commence before final results are revealed for the tribes.
Take Into Consideration:
The panel will judge the audio/lyrics of the track you submit. Music videos will not increase or decrease your score as some music video plots differ from a song's true meaning.
The theme is what is important here. You will not receive a low score because you sent in a song one of the judges does not like. Taste will at the most be the difference between an 8.5 or a 9. We will never dock off multiple points based off mere preference.
The song you choose should display the meaning upfront. An interview with your artist clarifying the meaning of the song will not be taken into consideration.
Judging Scale (May Vary By Judge):
9/10 - Great entry. Track displays the theme given head on.
8 - Good entry. Displays theme well but not as well as others.
7 - Okay entry. Fits decently but is missing something overall.
6 - Somewhat tackles the theme but falls flat.
5 - Track mentions theme but is otherwise off-base.
3/4 - Song does not hit the theme given besides a line or two.
1/2 - Song has to do with a completely different subject than the theme.
The example for this round is "Cool Kids" by Echosmith off their debut studio album 'Talking Dreams'. Lyrically, the track involves Echosmith discussing both a male and female protagonist's feelings as they walk through school feeling isolated and alone.

Oop at the round being posted while I took a nap Hopefully there's some big-scoring entries still available, though at the same time I'm kinda too lazy/tired to snatch anything right now.
Bloomy You know how insanely hard this council was for us and I hope you power through on the Island and eventually make it back because you didn't deserve to go this early at all, but unfortunately we were all put in an incredibly difficult situation.
when are y'all usually online cause i need to do the first hidden immunity idol already?
basically i post the official hidden immunity idol post and then for a set amount of pages (20) you guys will most likely post***** and one lucky post will contain the hidden immunity idol. no one but the person who got the idol will know who has it.
only problem is finding a time where everyone at least has the option of partaking.
oh and to define what a hidden immunity idol is in the first place:
it's an advantage where if you feel you're in trouble at tribal council you can play it before a tribal council and then any votes for you (if any) are voided. person with the second most votes leaves instead.
Hopefully there's some big-scoring entries still available, though at the same time I'm kinda too lazy/tired to snatch anything right now.
