There's no point in dragging out this "era." Drop the album, start over, pool your resources to find her a breakout song, and release another album in 2017. No point in revising and changing an album one million times because you're trying to launch it. They clearly can't find a hit and can't make Superlove happen so just move on
I honestly get that. They really invested in Make Me. They booked promo, shot 2 videos, put it on playlists, discounted it and had already set a release date for the album so it was too late to switch singles. Not to mention MM was actually selling...
But Superlove... why? They could have easily moved on to another song when rhythmic rejected it and when the streaming flatlined, which was 3 weeks ago. My theory is that they don't believe in any of the original songs of Joyride, which is why they sent her back into the studio with The-Dream. That would explain why both of the singles (in the loose sense of the word) are his. A mess
This makes sense but idk why it's soooo imperative that this album, which could be a drop in the bucket if they move on correctly, needs to be successful. Aquarius at least had acclaim and a hit song. If they keep messing with Joyride it will end up with neither. They can literally re-introduce her to the public in early Q2 and no one would care, this isn't make-or-break imo. As long as she isn't dropped she'll be fine, why waste all this money/energy NOW when you could just start over and potentially yield better results? The foolishness

i dont know why but i feel like she was planning on releasing something and somehow the label pulled the plug on it
if they had release this when they were suppose to it might have done 40K with streaming, if usher couldn't pull 40K with all the promo, i doubt this will pull haft that. Just release the dam album and have the GP and stan pick the singles. RCA know they won't make money from this project, so they are trying to get singles sales. What they should realize they are losing more money by each time this album is push back.
They should scrap this album and let her drop it as a mixtape then make her go silent and prepare a great album or just drop the album then drop her too.

It's unlikely that it will work. I mean earlier this year, she was spilling tea on them so they obviously don't have a good relationship and pushing back her album four times isn't going to make their relationship any better. Maybe there has been a few meetings behind the scenes and they've come to an understanding but it's all so sad at what this mess has become.
If Superlove or Company never pop off, what else would they do? They would have to release it regardless unless it becomes an Amelia Lily situation (album never ever sees the light of day).
