I think they pushed it to March because Triumphant sucks and it needs a different direction (and better music)--hopefully!

The album never even had a release date to begin with and Mariah herself said that she was still writing for it. So...all this talk about her "pushing it back" cause Triumphant isn't doing well is BS. I'm very excited and will have patience for what will be an amazing album

First single in November in time for Thanksgiving/AMA performances, New Years Eve performance, then release a second single in time for the Grammy's, and fully promote that in February and March.

The album date / pushing back is giving me TEOM teas. Mariah said she was done with TEOM in late 2004, but then went back in the studio with JD to create more radio-friendly songs. "We Belong Together" and "It's Like That" came out of those studio sessions.

We Belong Together almost didn't make the album until she later decided to make a "thugged-out" ballad.
