I'm confused now. Where does the tea about it not being the single come from?
Billboard posted an article and then at the bottom of it said that "Grown Woman" would be released on iTunes Monday. Then they removed it. And apparently there was talk of Bey saying GW was not the lead single but I didn't see anything.
But in the BTS of the Pepsi Ad the video director said "Grown Woman" was the single. My guess is Bey and her team wanted the iTunes thing to be a surprise and had Billboard retract the statement. She has a habit of doing things like that.

A few minutes later, they posted another that said Bey's rep denied that and that the song isn't the first official single. They post false information all the time.

We'll just have to wait and see.....again.
Hopefully it is the lead single because it would make no sense to use it in the ad if it isn't. I don't want the era to get off to a messy start like "4".
