Not every artist wants to make straightforward, accessible pop fluff. She has the interludes there to cohesively transition one song to the next.
And of course, people would go for "All Hands on Deck," the uptempo song. Typical ATRL.
yeah maybe if they actually serve a purpose but most of them could have been tacked on the front of the song afterwards and it wouldn't make a difference
Every song on Aquarius is great. It's one of those rare albums where second part is just as strong and memorable as the first (Far Side of the Moon, Feels like Vegas, Bated Breath and Wildfire are just ) I always forget about the song with Future though, even with the Impactnet sample it's just kinda forgettable to me.
Tinashe's album is good but some of the songs are far too self indulgent. Bet and Bated Breath are both ruined by the weird 'epic' instrumentals at the end. It's not artistic its tacky
Even though Watch Me Work doesn't fit the album that much she should have put it on the standard edition and release it on pop, probably her most accessible song sans 2 On
I still can't believe 2 On wasn't a bigger smash though
Thug Cry > Bet > Feels Like Vegas > Wildfire > 2 On > Far Side of The Moon > How Many Times > Aquarius > All Hands On Deck > Bated Breath > Cold Sweat > Pretend
