Poor Laurieann, always the scapegoat. People have to remember
they asked her to direct Judas and Yoü and I. Who the **** wouldn't take that opportunity? None of that is her fault. Besides it's a collective effort, they had virtually dozens of experienced professionals working on both videos. Do I want her to direct all of Gaga's videos? Hell no. She probably should stick to just choreography. But if she wants to use her she can, as long as we they change it up every now and then. Everyone in the industry from Madonna to Michael Jackson to Janet to Beyoncé to Katy Perry has worked with her for a reason.
Jo Calderone and the teal hair scenes especially.

Usually it's a really beautiful picture of Gaga or someone.
