Before you add the new files in, make them match the one you have in your iTunes, album title specifically (mp3tag is free and easy to use if you have a windows). Then when you go to delete the album, do it from your HD, NOT YOUR ITUNES. When it's not found, just start replacing the files one by one (or let it find them) but make sure it has the same album title/anything else you can fill it in with (album sorting, album artist, artist) as the original files or it could remove the plays.

I doubt there will be more than 4 because its Epic and its just not the trend to release more than 3-4 anymore.

I'm fine with 4 singles tbh, we have one extra mv for Write on Me, so that counts for something for me. I wish Reflection/Going Nowhere got the mv they deserve
No problem though, maybe it'll come in handy in the future
