I honestly get that. They really invested in Make Me. They booked promo, shot 2 videos, put it on playlists, discounted it and had already set a release date for the album so it was too late to switch singles. Not to mention MM was actually selling...
But Superlove... why? They could have easily moved on to another song when rhythmic rejected it and when the streaming flatlined, which was 3 weeks ago. My theory is that they don't believe in any of the original songs of Joyride, which is why they sent her back into the studio with The-Dream. That would explain why both of the singles (in the loose sense of the word) are his. A mess
