i don't mind Maggie tbh .. she doesn't annoy me seemingly as much as everyone else .. i liked her scenes this season with Emma's dad.

!!!! We know its not the Lakewood 5 or all the ones in the room together at the school when Emma was being harassed in the locked room.

Right now the main two are the Sheriff and possibly his son as a duo or Emma's counseler.

I think the killer at this point is either Emma's Counselor (Why else would Seth be randomly attacked)

and this is a bit random but that girl who Noah and Audrey had a three way kiss with. She just seems to be in it a bit much to be nothing important.

Non-spoilery thoughts on this week's upcoming episode:


The episode is really good. It is well-paced and continues to move the story along. There is a phone call scene and a bit of a chase scene that is reminiscent of the films, too, which really made me happy. Zoe gets more to do in this episode and becomes much more interesting, as does Eli. It ends with a really nice little cliffhanger.

And a very spoilery breakdown of everything that happens in the episode:


-Stavo is not in this episode.
-There is no death this week, per se... see the next to last note here to see what I mean.
-The episode opens with a really mysterious scene involving Eli. Its meaning is revealed later, but it serves as a really interesting and cool type of opening for the show that is a little ambiguous.
-Noah and Zoe have a little date on the water in which she reveals a little more about herself and where she was the previous year.
-Branson is no longer in the hotel when Brooke and Audrey return to check on him. They are lured to the school after this by the killer posing as Branson via a text.
-Emma is upset with Kieran for telling the sheriff things about her and not trusting her. She is upset much of the episode and blows off Ms. Lang, who comes to the coffee shop and apologizes to her for locking her in the room at school a few episodes ago.
-It appears Ms. Lang is writing a book about Emma and the Lakewood 6 in general, as she is at the school making voice recordings about Emma and has a lot of tapes in her desk.
-Ms. Lang receives a phone all and is attacked at the school. She discovers Branson, who is not in good shape. The killer moves to stab Ms. Lang at this point, but she moves quickly and he stabs Branson instead. The scene ends with the killer chasing her and throwing her over the banister from some stairs and blood pooling from her ear before a janitor finds her and scares him off.
-Branson's body seemingly disappears by the time Brooke and Audrey show up. It is stated later that Ms. Lang is still breathing.
-Noah and Zoe meet up at his house later for some romantic time. Zoe overhears Audrey's confession on Noah's computer while she is snooping, having noticed a file with her name on his desktop.
-Noah and Zoe almost have sex, but Audrey runs in and interrupts them, wanting to tell Noah about what happened at the school.
-After sensing her stressed out state, Eli plans a secret little getaway for himself and Emma that involves them breaking into a model home and having dinner. He eventually kisses her, but she pushes him off, saying she loves Kieran still, even though she has been upset with him.
-Eli reveals that he often likes to break into people's homes and create alternate lives for himself (which explains the opening scene).
-They end up rushing out of the model home due to a fire that flares up, presumably started by the killer.
-It is revealed that Mr. Branson's body (still not 100% on this, but it really looks like him) was dragged into the model home bathroom and there is another body in there with him as well (I believe the front desk guy from the motel). As the fire starts to spread, overtaking the home, the body that looks like Branson wakes up, and this is the end of the episode. I would assume he dies in this fire because he is already in very bad shape, but looks like we will have to wait and see.
-Next week's episode seems to revolve around a carnival and looks to make good use of the amusement park set that was grossly underused in last week's episode. It looks awesome!

i need more (and longer) chase scenes but besides that this season is so much better. i even kidna like emma.

ok who could be the killer(s)...in the last episode brooke went to stavos after visting mr hot teacher. he then got killed so. so stavos is a red herring too cause he was with brooke.

Ratings are tragic so it's no surprise. However, I feel like MTV probably make enough money from it internationally and due to the Netflix deal.

I think Netflix may be the only reason it has a chance at getting a third season, so I am remaining cautiously optimistic. However, if it doesn't I just hope they really give us the goods during the last 2 episodes and go out with a bang.

MTV confirmed they aren't checking for TV ratings they're looking for streaming ratings and Netflix just recently reported that Scream was one of their most watched horror shows

and #savescreamseason3 has been trending since yesterday.
