Well, I'm not holding my breath for branching out into DJing, more acting jobs, etc, nor am I holding my breath for a Spring 2014 release. I'm betting that come next Aug 7, the 8th year anniversary of
Cassie will pass without a sophomore album...
I'm just ridiculously unhappy with Cassie and I legit have an expiration date on my stan card: August 7, 2016. If she can't deliver an ALBUM, not a MIXTAPE, not an EP, but an ALBUM within 10 years of her debut, I'm going to stop checking for her entirely. I'll always love Cassie, but actively stanning for her is a JOKE when she takes us fans for granted. I have no idea why considers herself an artist when she lacks the fundamental hunger and drive for her music to be heard.
/rant (I just need to do this every so often, don't mind me)

Super excited about the Solange collaboration because I absolutely love her... it's the cherry on top to know she's a Cassie fan too! Hope that one day we get to hear those other 5 tracks
At first I wasn't too down about Hit It not being out in full (I figured, well, we already have the Cassie part, I guess)... but then I realized that there's probably a bridge Cassie sings and so now I'm hungry for that too. We should all collectively tweet Jonte and see about a release date for that EP.
At least we have a guaranteed new Cassie song in a week. That makes things a little more bearable
