Sure it's a mashup of like 4/5 songs but the dark elements almost serve like a closure to starship/PTA.


It gives me a story...I don't know but while the lyrics are generic the production makes me feel like it's a scene in my dreams where sounds are more muddled.

I feel like TNISY would actually have a storyline to it vs. Starships because TNISY just has that vibe for some reason. I can't put my finger on it.

DRAG me, CLOCK me, or do what the **** you want but that won't change the fact that if she wants to actually be RESPECTED as a lyricist and MC, she WON'T achieve that with a song like TNISY.

I don't want her to get a hit with a generic pop song. I won't be proud even if she gets a #1 with this, just like I'm barely proud with Starships' success. Ugh, at least she's confident with releasing this and is not ashamed of it, even though she should be.

Just look at the people paising it in that thread They are all Katy or Taylor stans with basic taste...

I stan for a female rapper who makes mostly hip hop music and I want her achievements to be achieved with actual hip hop music. I'm not boxing her in or anything, I'm not saying she should no make pop music, but if she wants to make such songs, at least she can 1) make good & not basic ones, or 2) not release them as a singles, so keep them album-only, because she needs to release singles that will cater to people that actually matter and not 12 year old teenage girls.

Let's just hope this will be radio-only and have no performances or videos AT ALL.

You stan for a rapper who loves rapping (and singing!) over pop and hip-hop production.

She has plenty of achievements inside of the realms of both pop and hip-hop.

There's nothing to stress about. She isn't in the same 'bad situation' that she was in during the Roman Reloaded. She has a revamped image and has won people back over. This song won't change anyone's mind about her because we've lived with the song for a month now (and we still have some more weeks before it is sent to radio).

It's not like this is a pre-album release single. She's gonna be fine regardless of how this does and, if people haven't already come to understand that Nicki is a multi-dimensional artist, **** 'em!
