Maybe not forever, but at least for now. It's a shame Warrior wasn't the huge commercial success it was made to be, but there is a positive side to that. We're getting material we know she wants to record. Obviously she was a creative force behind Warrior, but it still felt like Dr. Luke's baby. This new album is going to be the music that comes from her, and I think Wayne will help her achieve that a whole lot more than anyone in the pop world. 'Past Lives' alone suggests that.
I still can't get over the fact that there could possibly be an album full of Past Lives & YCMH's on this "Lip$ha" album. (I think he was joking about the Lip$ha think tho.) Nonetheless, I am excited.
The thought of her going away from pop really excites me now. She has enough great dance tunes to keep me going so a whole album of something completely new, even if it flops terribly, would be great.
