I'm here for an album next year as long as it's not released before MIAM's one year anniversary. She doesn't need to follow in the footsteps of Rihanna and "Ariana Grande".
She set the trend for pop girls in the 90s I wouldn't mind her doing this again long as it's not as painful as waiting for MIAMTEC.
As long as we don't have to wait 5 years or something. I can wait till next year. I want her to do a dark themed album. Something quiet like Emotions but yeah it's to early to expect something.

As long as SE 2.0 sees the light of the day and actually promote it, I'd be fine.
I really hope we get something next year tbh and I hope she MILKS this Christmas season. It is the 20th Anniversary of "Merry Christmas" after all. We should aim to get AIWFCIY to a new peak as well, just to be "hashtag" festive!
Mariah plans to do something that has rarely been done before–duet with icons who have passed away.
“I’m not sure if it will be Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, or even all three of them–but Mariah is determined to make something like this happen,” I am told.
Did you guys see that follow up Angela Chang story where she said she reported the split news first?

Sia involved in Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon divorce
On May 28, this site announced the impending divorce between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Plenty of readers have asked us why the post was deleted. We received a legit and serious legal threat that we didn’t feel like fighting. We rarely take down posts, but knew the truth would eventually come out. And it did.
We have been following this story for months and have been talking to several insiders close to Mariah Carey, whose team revealed some unreleased songs she recorded a couple weeks back–one would have been a huge hit. “My Not-So Little Pony” sounds like a ridiculous title, but it is a seriously good song that deals with weight and image issues. One thing very noticeable about the song is that it sounds very similar (but not enough to be called plagiarism) to Sia’s “Breathe Me.”
Nick Cannon has become a huge fan of Sia’s lately and this has made Mariah Carey pissed. Mariah allegedly considers Sia to be nothing more than a talentless pop tart with a good marketing team. Cannon, like us, views Sia as a brilliant musical talent. “My Not-So Little Pony” was Mariah’s way to show Nick that she is just as good as Sia. He allegedly flat out told Mariah that her song sucks. We’re not sure if this is the reason the song wasn’t included on Mariah’s latest album.
Sources say that Mariah allegedly took Sia’s songs off of Cannon’s musical device (not sure if it is an iPhone or not). She also allegedly took a picture of Sia off Cannon’s computer and replaced it with a pig. It was the last straw before the divorce; Nick Cannon will not let Mariah or anybody dictate what type of music he should listen to.
Sia wasn’t the only cause of the impending divorce. There are rumors of infidelity (from both Nick and Mariah), Mariah’s constant use of laxatives in order to lose weight, and Nick Cannon’s father, whom Mariah absolutely loathes. Mariah wants to keep their twins, but Nick Cannon will fight that; he doesn’t think Mariah is in a stable mental condition to be raising kids.
Let’s hope the impending divorce between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will go fast and both sides will continue with their careers. However, Mariah has a lot more to lose through the divorce than Nick, and we aren’t just talking about money.
