I highly doubt MMVAs will effect US itunes.... but you never know... unless she delivers an epic performance that goes viral.......
But I am excited to see the effects on Canadian iTunes- TEOG has already been doing great on iTunes (fluctuating between #4-#7 over the past 3 weeks or so)... I am also hoping this performance will clarify the radio situation... MOST stations are spinning TEOG but some are still confused and play Judas once and a while, and the odd Top 40 station plays TEOG maybe 1 or 2 times a day and plays Born This Way like mad.... Excited to see the charts for this week and next!
She was at #5 in Friday midweeks below 19, who is selling 22-25k per week. Her actual sales are around 42k in the UK this week. The increase is due to PO'G alone, which would only have had a Saturday effect. My approximate calculations put BTW sales at 20-22k for Saturday alone based on PO'G (although I could be wrong, but I love maths and I am sometimes right ).
Let's hope BTW atleast outsells 21 this week.
