Maybe we're getting what I wanted all along, which is a Goddess of Love themed release. Maybe we'll get an EP with the Greek/Roman visuals. And the Britney collab for the EP.
I mean, it still pisses me off that she marketed this whole project as a reverse Warholian soup can performance art experience, when she could've easily dropped Aura and Gypsy, changed ARTPOP's lyrics to be a pure love song, kept all Greek/Roman visuals throughout the era, and made it a sex/love album. That's what ARTPOP is at its core but that's not how she sees it, apparently.

But what if the GP isn't here for her "vision" ? Will she keep on promoting a song that will be flopping ? Will she keep on promoting an album out of the top50 ? Will she keep on booking castles for a video that won't even get Vevo certified ?
The only way for her to really start her real ARTPOP era is by re-releasing it.

The Little Managers are at it again.
G.U.Y. is a great song. So far it seems that she is actually putting some serious effort into making this video. I have positive feelings for the rest of the era.

I mean let's be serious for a second, if GUY was the next single, wouldn't Gaga have announced it already ? Like a said earlier, this is a third single of an underperforming era we're talking about, not a lead single, there's no need to try to create a surprise effect, won't work.

yeah it will be really tricky what will happen. I feel they might push G.U.Y. as what JT did with his transition between 20/20 part I and part II. So she might just "re-release" this album sooner than we think.

Oh and you guys know how slow European radios can be when it comes to jumping on a song unless it's a lead, by the time GUY will start to get some airplays here, Donatella will be smashing in the US.

I think you gotta let her carry out her vision though. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. But she has a lot planned and none of it has even begun yet (I feel).
I think whatever she has planned coming up will lead into the re-release/EP.

Because apparently she was very depressed/needed to patrol her website full of suicidal, gay, pregnant teens that have severe illness and disabilities requiring them to get a prescription of one comment from Goddess of Love in order to not be insecure, cuz their hearts are pure.
As for the lack of cohesiveness with her label regarding the single stuff - I can only trump that up to her change in management having teething problems or something like that. I get the feeling Gaga is insanely volatile behind the scenes - Interscope realize they're not going to making regular Gaga cash from the record so they're not going to do anything to annoy her before she embarks on the decently-selling world tour.
Gaga probably went through every song on the record before landing on GUY three days ago and deciding to go with it.

I still don't understand why it would be good for Gaga to release an ARTPOP II. Why give people a 2.0 of something they didn't want in the first place? Why shove it down their throats? I'm getting a MTN tea

The exact same thing can be said about her randomly wanting to promote an album that's out of the top50. They didn't want ARPTPOP when it was still "hot" and yet some of you think the GP will suddenly start buying it because Gaga "wants to carry her vision" ?

We still need this era to drag on a bit, to atleast start off the tour with the album still a bit in the background. Whether it be the original album or a 2nd volume. Maybe she could re-name the 2nd volume to artRAVE and tease it as new record.
