Also, people seem blindly unaware of the fact that getting a number 1 is not Bey's main concern anymore. Sure, she wants people to appreciate what she releases, but her concern regarding how high a song charts is no where near as great as it was when she was with DC. She has said this herself.
I remember she mentioned in past interviews that she never wants to get too comfortable - that she wants to still experience that nervousness or feeling of uncertainty when releasing a new record. That's why it baffles and annoys me when people are like "Why didn't she release a catchier song?? It would've had a better chance of going number one!" That COMPLETELY misses the point of what Bey is trying to do, and has been doing for a while. Beyonce does NOT go for the typical hit, never has, never will.
Is she still up in Paris!?
We need that MV because I think radio stations are waiting for her to hype it up and establish its single status not just buzz... I hvnt heard it once on the radio
