No. You are wrong. Dark Horse did good in 2014 but as good as expected.

People were expecting DH to rule Hot 100 for 10 weeks instead we got 4 weeks.
People thought that DH was going to outsell Firework or Poker Face but it didn't happen.
I remember those moments because I started frequenting this site at that particular time. Expectations for DH were unreal due to it's immense start in 2013.

As I said it's better than most pop girls but stil it didn't quite fulfilled fan's highest expectations

Thats exactly what digital power is! Being able to see when others don't like oh my god. Dark Horse had more longevity than most of the TD singles AND sold more AND got more views, like it's not hard to figure out that proves power.

Just because it wasn't #1 for more than 4 weeks doesn't mean it underperformed.
Being #2 is very big as well, and the charts position isn't as powerful as the actual sales.
