In September with Locked Away - it sold 91k or something. That was technically due to the fact that The Weekend suffered from Complete My Album, so CFMF fell from 1-4 as a result, leaving LA to top HDS by default.
i dont see it as sad, it's normal.
of course it's still fun to see songs impacting on itunes but for me the most important is either streaming b/c of its mass availability or actual album purchases b/c that's the ultimate way to compliment an artists full body of work.
buying singles really doesn't have a future at all. buying albums do tho imo
Is the Situation with Sia unique on the Itunes chart that she has two versions charting so high. She is not getting proper exposure and both are selling well. She's floating around #4 to #2 combined without being in the Top 10 on Itunes.
In Canada she is #1 over Justin by a growing margin but only if you look at combined
