Hungary ~54 000
Greece ~50 000
Italy ~15 500
and now they are going to be deployed more evenly between EU countries.
4500 for Poland is not a lot, stop being so overly dramatic.

It's not about being dramatic but it's political suicide to vote for something when 92% of your population is against it. I guess that lady will receive a soft cushion in Brussels next month after the Polish elections.

True. Whatever we do we will be trashed all over the western media. If Spain or France or Britain does the same its fine.
Our prime minister no longer wants to look good though. I'm not a fan of orban in fact he would not get my vote if Hungary went to the polls today, but he does what he received his mandate for and people respect that.

I hope it doesn't damage the bond we have and should have stuck together like we always did in the past.

Don't be, our government did before yours when they stroke that secret deal with Putin, and the Russians.
On country level there are problems but people still have much respect. Politics sucks.

From the BBC, orban is coming with his own solution to the crisis. He really ain't playing. Lol
It may be a peace offer from the most unexpected quarter, but Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is preparing to shock Wednesday's EU leaders' summit with a solution of his own to the migrant crisis - and it will be costly.
Hungary will propose that each of the 28 EU members pays 1% of its income from the Union, plus 1% of its contributions to it, into a special fund.
In Hungary's case, that would amount to €1bn (£720m; $1.1bn).
Close to 250,000 migrants have entered Hungary this year - 70,000 this month alone - and it has become a transit state on the Western Balkan route to Germany and other EU destinations.
Bethany Bell at Nickelsdorf - on the border with Hungary - says migrants cheered when they realised they were in Austria
The government has tried to stop migrants coming by erecting a border fence and giving the army extra powers to keep them out. And, along with three other Central European states, Hungary has been outvoted on an EU quota plan for taking in another 120,000 refugees.
The proposed special fund would be used, Mr Orban will argue, to improve conditions in the refugee camps in countries neighbouring Syria - especially Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan - and to bolster Europe's external borders.
The Hungarian plan rests on two premises. That European voters share his view that the ongoing influx would change Europe beyond recognition, if allowed to continue, and that they don't want that. And that if conditions improve where they are, the migrants will stay there, in the hope that they can one day rebuild Syria.
The Hungarian prime minister clearly also hopes that the plan will prove his own fence-building approach right - that Europe should defend its borders first, before it even starts discussing quotas.
He may also add that Hungary would be willing to accept a voluntary quota, if his proposal or parts of it are accepted.

Not just Europe would have to agree but also Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. But I guess they might not have that many issues if the EU would relief their pressure.
Hungary should be happy with having Orban tbh.

As said before, refugees are not willing to live in other countries:
"It's 'Germany Or Nothing' For Us"
A man who fled the war in Syria tells Sky News he would rather go back there than live elsewhere in Europe under a new EU pact.
Housam Kbieh fled the Syrian capital Damascus with his wife and two sons, one of whom is disabled and needs specialist medical care.
If he is forced to move from Germany to another EU country, Housam says he will return to Syria: "I go back to my country, it's Germany or nothing."

I read that Croatia has experienced 44,000 coming in during a single week which already 1/3 over the 120,000 plan. The frontloading is going to lead to a plan that didn't even last a month.

Say that to the 35 million that are opposed the quota
Election times soon. Kopacz will have her ass perched in Brussels while the new government will have to try to save face.

I just don't see what Europe's endgame is? They will undoubtedly reach these quotas in a few months, and I don't think people will stop coming.

They need to determine fast who is staying and who not cause if they are all allowed to stay that stream will never end.

My friend who also lives in a town that's on the border with CRO says the town is preparing for the arrival of migrants
She's in the north-east part of Bosnia
I'm in the north west and they are gonna direct them towards my town if they arrive
Pray for us!
