There's an upside to going last: the benchmarks have now been set.
As we know, you can have commercial success and/or you can have critical success. Angel Haze's debut got a 66 on Metacritic and sold a thousand copies, so we know it neither received critical acclaim nor went over well with the GP.
By charting at No. 3 today with 52,000 copies, Iggy Azalea's debut has most definitely achieved commercial success. (Azealia's hopes of reaching those numbers with BWET are long gone, we can acknowledge.)
BUT it's no secret that The New Classic has a paltry 60 on Metacritic. Which is to say, the gates are open for BWET to trot in as the next Matangi!
I've lost hope—given the label's meddling and Azealia's having had too much time to fiddle with it—that BWET will be a hip-hop classic or near-classic. (Though I'd love to be proven wrong.) However, a 78 on Metacritic should remain well within her grasp, and is it unthinkable that she sell 10,000–20,000 first-week copies with some decent promo and an alright-performing third single? (If Sky Ferreira managed 7,500 copies with an iTunes-only release, I think Azealia has enough buzz left to top that with a digital/physical release.)
And while Matangi was considered by none to be a true return to form for M.I.A. and thus essentially still a step down, it's commercial/critical mixture would be a definite win for Zee Zee after all she's been through. And it would still be the most critically successful (non-M.I.A., for those who call her a rapper) female rap album in a loooong time. (Remember that Pink Friday got a 68.)
Basically, I'm looking at Iggy's runaway commercial success and undisputed critical ‘meh’ as in fact a beautiful moment: she and Azealia are now in two entirely different lanes, and I hope it stays that way. Let the boring comparisons stop, for the benefit of both!

We still have the Pink Print
But as of now I really couldn't care about beating the competition, I just want BWET. Part of me still believes Azealia could give us a Lauryn Hill-type classic and slay the critics. Still I'd be very happy with Matangi type success from Azealia. Iggy has well and truly gone somewhere no one ever expected (commercial success of this level) and whilst I'm happy for her, it also means that Azealia no longer has to feel the pressure of competing with someone of a similar level. I would be happy for all the things you wrote to occur and I know if Azealia and her label work this release carefully they can do it. Iggy and Angel have had their shot. I don't need Azealia to beat them, I just want her to have hers.

Maybe her songs are genuinely bad. She does have weird taste sometimes, and she got really excited about songs like Blown Away and Aquababe, which to me are her worst songs.
However they did push for ATM Jam, so...
and her music taste it horrible

I think something along these lines too. A lot of the songs were weak BBD, ATM JAM and some were old/remakes Gimme A Chance, Luxury, 212. Those tracks would take me out the vibe of the album. I really don;t think it was as innovative as whole as she sells it to be. I mean she might have some gems on their, but the entirety of it probably not.

I know, but now I feel specially desperate since both of my faves (Nicki and Azealia) haven't given me music in a very long time.

Nicki dropped her Boss Ass Bitch remix AND Lookin' Ass N****, plus some features. What do you mean she hasn't given you music??
We have truly been PARCHED over here.

I know, but Nicki has been teasing us for straight weeks, plus just because I have new Nicki music doesn't mean I don't need new Azealia music. Wasn't the last thing we got the Partition remix?
