Friday night’s terror attacks in Paris apparently began with a small cell in the neighborhoods of Brussels, Belgium, where French authorities believe that many of the terrorists were recruited and that the attacks were planned and financed, according to two US law enforcement officials who have been advised about the ongoing French probe.

The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is in its early stages and the French are leading the effort, also said the terrorists likely were familiar with French culture and Paris in particular, and that it was “highly possible” some had lived there.

Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks and French President Francois Hollande also blamed them, but the sources said the multiple sites and soft targets hit in the attacks pointed to Al Qaeda rather than Islamic State, and they stressed that authorities are still trying to pin down who was behind the attacks.

ISIS have little knowledge of their own religion. They're not different from islamophobes when it comes to their superficial understanding of Islam. After all they're not scholars or imams who are educated and trained on Islamic theology on academic level. Imams and Muslim scholars have dedicated their lives to studying and propagating Islam thus couldn't have missed out on the true message of the Qur'an unlike ISIS and most other terrorist groups.

This. Europe was once the place for freedom, peace and equality in this world. And now we're going backwards. I'm scared for our rights. The right wing party in Germany is very aggressive and they hate gays so much. And you're right about the muslim vs. non muslim war. I think in France they have a muslim party but I'm not sure. It's time that politicians do politics for all people not against the people.

Thank you that's adorable. I couldn't go outside until 3.A.M and there were still many people who were running, trying to get back home. It was impossible to catch a cab so a friend of mine picked me up with his car. Now I'm fine don't worry but that was a nightmare
