redone doesn't have the talent, skill and savviness to run a label tho, his production has never been great and the pop songs produced by him go nowhere if they aren't seriously backed by an actual major label.
Besides that she never wanted to do typical pop songs like those of j.lo, kat deluna, lady gaga, nicole scherzinger. At the end she was forced to do them and even have them as singles.
(tho Rich Boi is a really good pop song but clearly not the type of music that represents her as an artist.)
