Agree! They're really gunning for longevity. The label is doing extremely well & she's everywhere at the moment

And though there's no ballad, remember BOY was huge as fourth single. So darkside will be too (it really is breakaway era!!)

After DLMSY didn't get to be a single, I don't want LMD being a single either because DLMSY >>>

We all KNOW Dark Side is gonna be a single as some point! It's inevitable!
I'm happy with the choice for the third single even though it should have been Dark Side but IFY is still a good choice PLUS it's my mom's favorite song on the album so she'll be happy when I tell her the news!!

I feel this is how the rest of the singles will go.
1-Mr. Know It All - September 2011
2-Stronger - January 2012
3-I Forgive You - May/June 2012
4-Dark Side - October/November 2012
5-Let Me Down - February/March 2013
I think RCA is NEVER going to let K.C. release You Love Me. It's a good song and all, I just get that feeling that it's like 100% not gonna happen. LOL

The excellent pink-bubblegum explosion ''I Forgive You'' plays like a heartfelt postscript to the guy who left her in ''Since U Been Gone,'' with Clarkson's lived-through-this vocals making the lyrics even more poignant: ''We were just a couple of kids...no shame, no blame.''

but still i find it generic maybe because we are stans? and the non fans would appreciate such songs. i hope they are right

I don't know why I think that really. It's kind of just a feeling. I have such a strong feeling that Let Me Down will be the final single just because of how much attention and radio airplay it got when it was just a demo leaking. I don't see RCA doing 6 singles with this album and even if they did, if feel they would totally jump on a The War Is Over and capitalize on a ballad, like with Already Gone.

what is the ideal gap or number of months between singles release? now it seems that it should be 3 months when before it was 6 months ideally.
