so if she sold 275k and Adele sold 200k, Kelly would be number one. If Kelly sold 225k and Adele sold 150k, then Kelly would be #1, if Kelly sold 245k and Adele sold 170k, Kelly would be #1...ect

I think the real point though is that, while you are correct, historically sales aren't going to be extremely high nor extremely low.. and there is only appx a 25-30% difference between them. Regardless they are the #1 and #2 spots. The difference needs to be upwards of 70k. So if Kelly hypothetically sells 200k, Adele would be around 140k and that's simply not enough. If Kelly sells 210, Adele has about 147. If Kelly sells 220, Adele has about 154. If Kelly sells 230, Adele has about 161. None of these scenarios are really enough. Kelly really does need to sell about 240k minimum to potentially hold off Adele as that would put Adele around 168k which is a difference of 72k. Airplay difference is 71k.. I think Kelly really needs to outsell Adele by 75k. So you see.. given that we KNOW their sales difference was approximately 25-30% different all week.. it's only possible for Kelly to outsell Adele by 70k+ if she hits 240k.
