The real reason why Taylor's videos are enjoying so much views is due to her churning out hits after hit which is helping her previous videos to gain lots of views. Blank Space indirectly helped to boost SIO's views.

But still it's not gonna pass Dark Horse anytime soon considering that gap in views is still significant to be viewed as real threat

Still it's disturbing how "successful" Taylor is considering that she doesn't have any iconic songs compared to Katy.

To be completely honest I don't even know anything about Taylor aside from that Kanye gaffe which is the only moment in her carreer that stood out.
