THIS. tbh teenage dream is going to be a classic 10 years from now. it doesn't get old and it has that classic pop song written all over it.
Even the most brutal, anti-Katy haters acknowledge its greatness. It's her defining moment, and it also made for a great farewell teaser, too! My personal favorite so far.
Well, it didn't sell 5M like the other singles I think it was a little overshadowed by CG, but it will always be more respected than the lead single.
That's because there was no shtick to it. No memorabilia, no wigs, no boobs flailing out, no braces, nothing. Just a quality 2nd single that rose to the top organically and ultimately sold the album. I remember seeing it on numerous "Top 10 Hits of 2010"....even in reputable magazines.
