But as a pop star she needs to be versatile not just stay in a particular lane,give her time it took artist like Rihanna 3 albums to carve a niche for themselves.Plus this is a Rita song so I don't get what you mean unlike what obtains in the music industry where writers and producers pass song around to whichever artist is interested,this song was specifically written with Rita in mind.of course it sound's like a calvin song since he produced it,most producers have their trade mark sound that is easily recognisable no matter who's vocals are on it.
At the end of the day it all boils down to personal prefrence,all Rita needs to do is to push the music to the GP and let them decide if they like it or not.People either like a song or they don't,it has nothing to do with the quality of the song.
