I love queen Janna but yasss Karma is my girl.
(I really want a Dunkmaster Karma skin
Can't you just picture her wearing a sweet basketball jersey?)
Story time! I played the Karma ARAM of my life the other night! I was on a team of randoms and the other team had a group of guys that were
obviously friends playing together because their usernames were all "____ Marine". They were basically these obnoxious straight guy marines that would not. stop. bm'ing us. They were emote/mastery spamming and taunting us over all chat. I felt like all I could do was spam "You know what they say... Karma always catches up to you" over and over.
But would karma catch up to them? My team had lost both of our turrets and our inhibitor and we had gotten nothing of theirs.
It was not looking good.
I was playing really well though, dunking on them with my empowered Q's and I was the only one on the team spamming back at them,
so they had like a personal vendetta against me specifically. Thankfully they were playing mostly melee champs (Mao'kai, Wukong, Olaf) and I could just speed myself up and get away... But then I had an idea.
What if I just stood there? We had a Shaco on our team and instead of running, I had the idea to strategically stand on his boxes. These guys were
animals and obviously they would try to kill me
"ez" if I just stood there as bait doing nothing but spamming. So both the Mao'Kai and Wukong jump on me at the same time, and they get feared by the Shaco boxes. I slow them with a Q and at the same moment the MF on our team ults gloriously and we got a turret off that.
For some reason it took us 15 minutes to realize this strategy worked, but after that fight this Shaco and I were hardcore working together. It sounds like an obvious strategy, but after losing by so much only 15 minutes into the game, standing on his boxes as bait wasn't exactly my first thought? It felt more like a that's-crazy-enough-to-work/avant garde strategy and it's what won us the game.
The same strategy of baiting them onto Shaco boxes kept working and we came back to win it. They were so salty.
Karma indeed caught up to them. A classic ARAM tbh.
Also I got my first Akali penta last night o w o
