Other than the theme and the lyrics , that song is trash not enjoyable whatsoever, she sounds like she's drunk off her a$$ and struggling to alter her voice to make unbearable to listen.
while the vocals on stache might be unprofessional, the song is still enjoyable and fun.

Applause is the suprise last single with longtvity, DWUW is the stressed out like 4th to 5th single that they didn't cared enough for. G.U.Y. will be like the overall nice performing third single, if we get 5 singles, we will be fine
The intro ruins the song sadly. Even the new vocals were not that bad as I initially thought.

It is a great song but certainly doesn't follow the epic treatment that her first three albums did. I don't like how it breaks away from those three god tier songs. It's a novelty of a sort - not really one that stands out even if it has a fantastic chorus. It would have been more appropriate for Venus to open up the album even though that would still be undeniably tacky.
Fame Monster took her a few months. Artpop took her 2 years.

If someone forced her to finish an album or video in a few weeks, it would probably end up being the best thing she ever made tbh. I bet all her stuff is 10x more brilliant before she obsesses over tweaking it for 10 years.
I still like the song in general, but it's kinda idk... a novelty song. And it wears off after awhile.

You could do that , but why did you choose to avoid the argument about Dope ...It might be a critics's favorite but your average music listener will tell you that she sounds awful on it and the great lyrics and theme will be overlooked because of the atrocity that is the vocals ...

The thirst time I started to even consider listening to EDM was when Gaga described ARTPOP back in 2012, in the meantime that same genre has punched her out of my lastfm charts, a mess.
I desperately want her to give us a decent music video that people will enjoy and not have to decipher the metaphorical meanings and ulterior hidden messages in it , just a sexy fresh and not too weird music video to do this song justice and not ruin it ala TEOG ...
