Amazing episode. (6 > 1 > 8 > 3 > 2 > 4 > 5 > 7 )
Everything turned out like I thought it would turn out but yet I was a bit surprised.
Next week also looks amazing. Weird that the wedding is already next week. Will and the Countess know each other for 3 weeks.
Also, I have NO idea how this season could end. except for someone killing John, so Sally can keep him forever.

Maybe they are going for a role reversal of sorts with the Lowes in comparison to The Countess and March?
John is the killer like March and Alex is the vampire like The Countess, but John will be the one in the end to find love with Sally where The Countess was the one actively seeking love? This could be the plan March and Sally have together? March has him do the killings and then Sally is allowed to kill him so they can be ghost lovers?
Tate and Violet who?

All in all it was a good episode. It left me with more to think about, which is a good thing. It was predictable, but there are still 5 episodes, and I'm sure more twists are coming. The only thing that annoyed me about the episode, was how Mr. March and John kept gathering around the dinner table, it became so repetitive to me for whatever reason.
Do you think Gaga will die next episode? She was only scheduled for 8 episodes.. But the 10th episode "She gets revenge" sounds like it might happen there, or maybe Gaga will die in episode 9. And Gaga will come back for her revenge on Ramona.
Also I hope Alex kills John, it would be satisfying. It's like nobody has any good in them this season? I hope they all get what they deserve.

Wait and does that mean the fashion show that happened, happened ages ago or something. Because it seemed like Gaga had just met him for the first time, because didn't Matt turn to her and say he is a cop.

I have just finished watching the episode. It was amazing. Simply stunning. The actors brought their A game tonight. The Countess looked phenomenal and she delivered her lines flawlessly. The true stars of the evening were, however, Mr March and Sally.
I don't know why nobody has brught that up earlier but episodes 4, 7 and 8 are all in the same vein. They are the type of episodes that we never got on previous season of AHS - they are the answers to all of our unanswered questions about the season. If I had to devide the season so far I'd put the episodes in 3 categories. The first category is the introducing part of the season - episodes 1, 2 and 3. They are setting up the story and everything else the season will be revolving around. The second category are the flashbacks episodes - episodes 4, 7 and 8. Although episode 4 does not center on any certain flashback or past actions it gives us hints to what follows next and hints to where the story could lead. Because of episode 4 we knew John is the TCK. Episodes 7 and 8 were the episodes that answered a lot of questions and resolved most of the fan theories to date. The third category includes episodes 5 and 6. They are set in modern date, there is a lot of action happening which moves the plot forward. Episodes 9 and 10 will be just like episodes 5 and 6. A lot of things are going to happen, things will get really interesting and the biggest sub-plot of the season will be finally paid attention - the vampire children.
I have absolutely no idea how the season will turn out. Just like we didn't know what would happen in Asylum. With the other seasons the end game was obvious - Vivian bore the Antichrist, the next Supreme took control over Miss Robichaux's Academy and Elsa Mars became a star. But we have absolutely no clue what is going to happen in the last three episodes of Hotel.
I saw people specualating the Countess would get killed the next episode. I find that hard to believe. When John was in grave danger Mr March saved him, the same would happen for the Countess since she is the one whom he is in love with. The promo for next week is kind of confusing. She Wants Revenge and She Gets Revenge are most probably one big episode that we are getting in two parts. I also saw some scenes which have already aired in previous episodes, maybe they are related to the story and this is why they showed them (eg the Countess enters in Room 33 and she finds Alex nursing Bartholomew). I have read the synopsis for episode 10 and it says Donovan learns the true intentions of the Countess whereas she tells him (allegedly) in episode 9 her big plans.Or maybe this is one of their plot twists this year? Maybe her nefarious plan is not to get a hold on of Will Drake's money. We also see the Countess slapping Mr March so more backstory is coming, I guess (hopefully something to do with the Murder House or maybe they will be focusing on more flashbacks in January).
I'm sorry for my long post, I'm just really excited once I've watched the new episode of Hotel and I'm trying decipher everything that comes across my mind.

This, though I hate to admit it. It's very boring imo, and everyone I watch it with agrees this episode was ok, good relegation, but it used an entire episode. It was so boring.

I guess if you can't comprehend 40 minutes tying the whole season together, the problem might not be the episode itself.

But we all knew he was the killer this whole time...it just dragged on and on. That guy is a terrible actor as well so it didn't help

I loved that they didn't draw out the reveal, and while I think Wes Bentley is the weak link in the cast I quite liked this episode. The flashbacks worked well, and despite being obvious I thought they pulled the reveal off well. I love that the loose ends are tying together, and I hope they're able to tie Ramona and Donovan into everything more next week.
After a good episode for her acting, I thought Gaga was sort of stiff here. Even, and I hate to say this, Iris was a bit stiff in her last scene. I hope she gets some meaty story and a good payoff. Evan Peters was easily the standout, and he's certainly my favourite part of the season. I also loved Evers line about not being sure how to launder the countesses glittery outfit.
Overall, I'm just glad that there's at least one central story that sort of ties everyone together. It's loose, sure, but it's there. And now we have very clear directives for (almost) every character going forward: The Countess to marry Drake and get his money, Donovan / Ramona to get revenge on The Countess, March to complete his killings, and John to carry those killings out.
Still up in the air:
- Valentino and Natasha
- All the infected kids
- John and Alex's daughter (lol)

This episode had me browse my other tabs. The "reveal" was...
Wes / John doesn't do it for me. I can't empathize with him at all. Keep thinking about how much Dylan would have slayed the role.

Oh my god this episode was awful?
I also can't believe Ryan actually went ahead with John being the killer?! Like literally almost everybody was on here/ other forums predicting that it would be him back on episode 2 ish so the reveal wasn't surprising in the slightest.
I'm just really shocked at how bad that episode was.

The episode wasn't the best. As we got to know that John is finally the 10CK I didn't need the explanation on every killing. Sally saved this episode for me and James March to an extent. This episode was just one big mess cause it was focusing on John too much. Still I live for the Sally & John romance.
