It's doing pretty well digitally but all of her singles do. Her last album also had a ****load of hits but it didn't stop her steep decline. I'm not saying she has no chance to do well but looking at the way the industry is treating most solo females and Kana's previous decline I don't think she'll do well enough to be up there with Namie.

I like it a lot, she's pretty consistent in terms of quality, though some of her singles are beyond boring.

Yup. Even if her sales of the album were weaker than "to LOVE" the album still had some pretty big monster hits. Personally I'd also hope she recovers because I've been loving her singles this era.

Why is she still doing so well ? She started way before Kumi.

I don't see why Kumi would be past her prime, and Namie wouldn't.

I'm not sure if you know but Namie had a MASSIVE comeback in 2008 with her album "Best Fiction." She was going through a big slump from 2000-2003 but then she slowly started making her comeback from 2004-2007 and then in 2008 Avex released the GH "Best Fiction" which basically cemented her again as a huge force in J-Pop so yeah. Also I don't know if you know this but Kumi started her career in 2000 even if she wasn't doing that great lol.

She had a major comeback with a best-of album ?

I know that Kumi started a long time ago, read about it. But Namie was slaying back in the late 90's.

Career declines make me sad.

Eh she's still one of the most popular solo females in the industry so it's not like she disappeared off the face of the earth like Ai Otsuka for example. I'll remain positive and hope for the best.

I agree though. I'm good as long as she continues to serve since my other fave is lazy as ****.

They usually sell much better than original studio albums do.
