Rest assured, she won't. And can't. Thankfully she's signed to a label that would keep her from doing something so stupid.
But let's also not think that P!nk hasn't thought about her career from the start. Country music is like a cult. There's no freedom of expression unless you want to express how much you: Love America, love your truck, love your wife, love your sister, love your daughter, love your lover, make love to your sister and daughter and hate gays, terrorism, liberals, muslims, city folk, transgender people, poor people, people on welfare, the North.
While a lot of country stars stan her talent, that's not the same as the country music industry embracing her, much less the buying public. Yeah, STWOF is doing well but it's like Kenny Chesney's 92nd #1 hit.
Plus, it would be hard for her to remain P!nk. Everything she has stood for would be thrown away. And it's not like it would even transfer to sales. Rose Ave was the kind of music that audience would buy but it hasn't exactly shifted a lot of units. Nor did any of the songs get traction on the radio.
Which makes the case that the album will be as country as 1989. Maybe a little less processed but still very far away from Johnny Cash or even Carrie Underwood
