Firework is catchy though (but yes I didn't imagine it would have be the huge hit it is).

I don't think that Pearl is the type of ballad which would have been a radio smash and a smash on iTunes. TOTGA is a ballad but it's catchy enough to be a single.

That's because it's an uptempo pop song, whereas Pearl is not. It wouldn't have performed well as a single, let alone reach #1 on Billboard.
