I don't know. It's a complicated situation.
For the record, I'm pretty sure I didn't get catfished, but the guy is either playing one of his way-over-the-top completely-unnecessary jokes or dumped me for someone else.
Whichever one it was, it was kind of awfully cruel to do to a guy who honestly doesn't understand when someone's serious about this stuff, needed a friend to be there for him, and just wanted a happy, normal relationship! And it would take a lot to even begin to apologize for making me feel how I have for the past several hours!
