Oh, sh*t.... Now I REALLY got a tad of snot!
Sorry, um... Anyways! I want to thank three people in particular. First off, I want to thank Ichinaru19 for being the one to introduce me to this base, because I've made a lot of wonderful friends here and this base has strengthened me as a Daydreamer. I do believe that I'm a better Daydreamer because I've allowed myself to become part of such a wonderful community of people who all love and cherish Adele the way that I do, and thank you all for accepting me into that community! Next, I want to thank Dev for doing the Adele Base Awards because I know how much time and effort goes into something like this, and I think that Dev needs to be commended because of all the hard work that something like this requires.
Lastly, I want to thank Adele. I know, I went on a rant about her yesterday and whatnot, but when it all comes down to it, she's the reason I'm here. She's the reason we're all here. And the thing is... We're all STILL here. It's been four years since her last album, and we're still waiting. I mean... That just shows how much we all love her. Adele has changed my life in ways that I can't even tell you. She's truly one of the most incredible and important people to ever be in my life. I've never even met her in person, but she's such a big inspiration for me and I'm so thankful to have someone like her to stan for.
I just want to say thank you to all of you again for voting for me for Daydreamer of the Year! I was not expecting this! And just so that this speech is truly the Adele award speech that we've been missing for the past few years, this for y'all because somewhere in the world, someone desperately needs to be given this gesture:
