So, the producers of Recovering are:
- Allen Shamblin is a country music songwriter who was born in Tennessee, and was brought up in Huffman, Texas
- Tom Douglas (born August 2, 1958) is an
American executive chef, restaurateur, author, and radio talk show host
But the other Tom Douglas is an American country music songwriter. Douglas has been active in the industry since the early 1990s. He has written Top Ten hits for John Michael Montgomery, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Collin Raye, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and others.
They registered 2 songs with P!nk, Recovering and Love Me Anyways in March. We got another info from a Toronto radio host saying she will release a country album, then Daughtry talked about her being in Nashville around August, so from March to August she was sneaking around country stuff this year for sure.
In 2015 a couple of songs got registered, 2 on the same day with Today's The Day: Where We Go with Greg and We Could Have It All with Beck&Greg. I think they all will end up in trash or other artists' hands because we know she went to the studio to record TTD and the first song was it, and if the other ones might have been for some other things, we would know it by now. Casualty with Sia was registered slighly after, but still early 2015 (was it the one that she said was for a movie but it was too disco? iirc)
So that's all I could put together. So I say it's safe to assume that she's doing something new but keep things wrapped up tightly. I don't think we're getting a lot of Greg and Max. Also, HDD reported her album got bumped to next year but at the same time they are organizing the world tour next year so imo it means one thing: she has the material but RCA decided to keep it out from the crowded fall season and release it only next year. Maybe they know it's not the material that will sell easily? Or she fights for it to get released? Or went back and record some more songs? That's not how she usually works but who knows. Either way, I think we are close to getting something.
