Discounts are giving the song more longevity after all. We have been saying the song is death for a long time but is still reaching new peaks on radio
And it's not done on iTunes either. Yeah, it's not selling as good as other songs (Confident has never been selling good anyway, only after big promo), but without the discounts the song is stabilized in the 35-45 range. So as long as radio keeps pushing it, it is still selling and discounts are helping in this case.
But anyway, let's not act like the song has been discounted several times, this is the second time.
The song is not over yet, maybe it won't reach a new peak on BB100 but as long as it keeps charting there's no problem.
