Honestly, if Taylor had promoted 'Style' WD would've had a chance to tie Katy and MJ. But I honestly think WD will peak at #3 or even worse #2 and it'll be blocked by Hotline Bling or something.
Well, incredibly rude entity, Ger was wondering how often recently people are still going strong with 3 singles, but thank you for once again demonstrating your blatant lack of respect for other people.
...
Hailee T20 way after the discount ended; good to see success for someone who knows how to love herself and tries to help others, showing her love for them as well.
Not only that but it's the best selling female album of all time and the best selling country album of all time Releasing lots of singles is clearly beneficial but these days most acts only release 3, maybe 4 at the most and then quickly move on to the next era. I like the days where there would regularly be 4+ singles
Agreed, does SEA+TEA counts towards certifications? If so where is she right now?
No. Album certifications are just sales and she is just under 5.3 million now. She's not going diamond...
6× platinum is on lock, 7x platinum will probably take years if she gets there.
Chill a bit sisters. 7 million copies ain't happening soon. 1989 is currently at 5.3 million and will probably finish the year at 5.6 million. Grammy boost and New Romantics will propel it towards 6 million.
7 million will probably take a very very long time to happen.
overtaking Fearless is a bit far fetched.. but 6 million will surely happen.
and technically, when Fearless' era ended it too ended at somewhere in 6million. it only just reached 7M after like 5 years. so Technically, 1989 has sold as well as Fearless did in its time.
