‘CLARE BOWEN’
ALBUM INFORMATION
Today, Clare Bowen took to her page on the Revolution Records website to finally put a plan into motion. Debuting her single “Black Roses” last week, many musical insiders were uncertain of her debut album’s release date- until now. Prior to this announcement, it was revealed via HDD (Hits Daily Double) that the label could release the album on any date between January and February. But at last a date has finally been chosen! And much more is announced!
“Dear Fans,
It’s Clare here. Over the past ten months I’ve been working immensely hard on my debut record. After lots of back-and-forths, confused nights and inspiration- my album has been done since last November. I just released the lead single, “Black Roses” last week for it- which debuted at #21 on the CAL Chart! Thank you to all my fans and everyone else who helped get the single there; I’m glad you’re enjoying the music. So after all this time… we have chosen a release date for the album! My self-titled record will be released via Revolution Records on February 1st. I’m very excited about the album release and I’m very confident you guys will love it. I've worked with so many incredible people and have had an amazing product readied for y'all to hear, and I know at least y'all will appreciate. So... here is the tracklisting and cover for the standard edition. See you soon.
-xxclare”

As stated, the album is Bowen's first LP, although working much with Nashville. Fans were extremely excited to hear the news of her album finally coming after years of questioning, rumors, and a bit of a delay. The deluxe edition features a different cover with six additional tracks- three which are rumored to be live recording of tracks and one confirmed to be a collaboration with Connie Britton, as the two duet on an Alternate Version of Track #2, "Isles". The lead single "Black Roses" is out now, with a follow-up expected to be out shortly.

Azealia On SNL

Azealia Banks appeared on Saturday Night Live for the second time in three weeks. On the program, Azealia promoted the now released album The Dying Stars. She promoted the album by performing the two promotional singles off the album on SNL. Space Oddity and Fly, the two singles released last night along with the album. Both have been sent to radio to be played as a way to further promote the album. While Azealia hosted SNL last time, she was asked to come back only two weeks later for the album release. When asked about having the opportunity to perform on Saturday Night Live twice in three weeks, Azealia said the following "I am truly a blessed person with opportunities that many other don't and deserve to have. I hope that one day I will be able to give back to the world for all it has given me. Thank you to all my fans who have put me here today. I will be sure to give all of you a magnificent and beautiful performance like no other. I will not disappoint you. Believe in me, my loves." During the performance of Space Oddity, Azealia had on white kitten heels. She had her hair dyed a gray/violet tone and in two long pig tails extending from the very back of her head. She had short bangs to go with the look, only two inches long. Large circular Miu Miu sunglasses adorned Azealia's face during this performance. They were bright purple colored lenses and white frames to go around the circular lenses. Her outfit was a very sheer black catsuit. Underneath it, Azealia wore only electric tape to cover the areas not allowed on tv. On stage with Azealia was a white box. She sat on the 3x3 white box with her legs spread open on it during the beginning of the performance. Behind Azealia there were large white chiffon sheets flowing from one end of the stage to the other, covering it. All the band was dressed in all white, their hair all pulled back and away from their face. There were no dancers present on stage with Azealia throughout the performance. At the beginning of the performance of Space Oddity, Azealia lifted up her white mic and began to sing into it as she sat on the box. The band played behind her as she sang to the tune the audience was enjoying. After a hearty applause, the performance was over. After a few commercials and a few skits, Azealia was ready to perform again. This time she performed the other promotional single, Fly featuring Childish Gambino. Childish Gambino was a special guest during this performance. During it, there were two dancers on stage suspended in midair as Azealia performed throughout the song. They fought and danced as Azealia and Childish Gambino did the song, paying no mind to the artistic display happening above them. Azealia wore all white for this performance with a black bob. The outfit was a white pantsuit and all white glow in the dark lipstick with matching eyeliner. Childish Gambino wore a similar suit. Azealia started the performance sitting to the side of the large white box and had her head looking up and she began to raise her mic. She sang to the audience about as to why you should enjoy every moment of life as it will fly by and you'll miss it. Childish Gambino came in to sing the chorus and did his verse. After that, the lights began to flicker and you saw the dancers in the air fighting as Azealia sang and you only saw her glow in the dark makeup and her mouth moving as she sang the song. At the end of Fly's performance, Azealia hugged Glover. After the night was over and the show was done airing, the night wasn't done for the internet who all praised Azealia to the high heavens over her amazing performances on Saturday Night Live throughout the period. Azealia has uploaded both performances of both Fly and Space Oddity to her YouTube account where they've already attracted hundreds of thousands of views. Commercials advertising Space Oddity, Fly, and Metamorph aired throughout the night. Be sure to buy The Dying Stars today.

eyes, (I'm a Hot Stuff baby)
I may be soft like satin but can be sharp like knives
All you haters, watch me smile (I'm a Hot Stuff baby)
Im bundled up with giggles and cutpurses,
Pull my trigger and you'll know me clever beyond words
All you haters, I've had enough! (I'm a Hot Stuff baby)
Better know I can be the mastermind of endless coalitions

Azealia Reveals "Gemini Tour" on KIIS FM

While on KIIS FM doing an interview about the album The Dying Stars, Azealia revealed the tour she plans to embark on tomorrow, the Gemini Tour. Also while on KIIS FM, Azealia did a performance of Metamorph as well as Space Oddity and Fly, all of which are on The Dying Stars. When the hosts of KIIS FM asked Azealia about what she plans to do this week for The Dying Stars and promotion, Azealia said the following "I have videos to reveal. A video for every song on the album except Space Oddity and Fly. Each of the videos are going to be put on my VEVO account in a way to let the world know about the album. They're all artsy and fun. None of the videos have me in them because I felt it was best to represent the videos with the art happening around them, so that's what I did. The reason Fly and Space Oddity won't have released videos this week is due to my future plans of them. I want to release both later on as singles. I plan to release Fly next week and Space Oddity the week after. I'm hoping that they'll each be successful as I've put so much work into them and what's going to be done with them." When Azeaia was asked about her top five songs on the album she said the following "This is hard. See each song represents something completely different and I really love and enjoy them all on their own. However.... Hmm.. My top five is. I'm going to not include singles and promo singles by the way. I think my top five is Crystalline Displays, my Show Me Love cover, Heliophase, Dark Matter, and Comet 81P. They're all so different." Event though the album The Dying Stars was just released, everyone in the room wanted to know what was next for Azealia and if she was going to go through with this rock record. Azealia responded with "Hell yeah I'm going through with it. I want to do something none of these other kids have touched yet. I want to do an alternative rock record. Something inspired heavily by Hole. I want something like that. St.Vincent has already started helping me with it. Expect the album in the summer time. I also would love to do a followup to Reborn, called Unborn. I have one specific song I want to release off of the album. hopefully I can release it before summer time." The thing everyone got excited about during the interview was Azealia's reveal of the tour she was going on, the Gemini Tour. Azealia said about the tour "It's space themed. It's all about outer space and the beauty of the galaxy. It's my very first stadium tour and I'm pumped. I will be performing songs from all of my albums. Reborn, Domination, The Dying Stars, you name it. It's going to be a real good show and you should all go out and buy your tickets today" Azealia then tweeted the tour dates and sent out the ticketmaster link. Azealia on GMA
Setlist:
Fly [feat. Childish Gambino]
Metamorph
Crystalline Displays
Galactical
Space Oddity
This morning on Good Morning America, Azealia Banks appeared to perform songs off of her new album as well as be interviewed where she talked about everything everyone has been wanting to know about this album, The Dying Stars. Questions discussed during the interview included the question as to whether or not The Dying Stars will have more than three singles and if it'll get a rerelease. Also discussed was the music videos that are to be released for the album. All was revealed in Azealia's interview on Good Morning America. When Azealia was asked about whether The Dying Stars will have more than three single she responded with "Well I don't know. I want to release three and only three but if the demand is high and if I have the time, I might release more than three. It all depends if there's demand. I would love to, honestly. However, I also want to release an EP soon. It's a followup to Reborn called Unborn. It'll have a cover of Throb on it and so many other songs I never got around to releasing during the original Reborn era. However, if I have the demand, I'll definitely release more than three singles. Right now I'm just hoping to get in three. It's hard to do that much, you know." Azealia was later on asked about if there will be a rerelease of The Dying Stars. Azealia kind of hesitantly responded with "Well. It's not that kind of album. It really isn't. See, it's a great album and honestly I love and adore every bit of it. However, it's perfect the way it is. There isn't a need for a rerelease. At least not at the moment. Everything that belonged on the album, is on the album. And that's that. There's so much other music not from this era I would like to release and I don't want to stay trapped in this one era." Everyone has been wanting to know about the music videos that will go with every song on the album. Azealia said the following about that "I'll release them in the next two days. I will not say when exactly because it's going to be a surprise. Just know, it's coming. After a commercial break that advertised The Dying Stars on iTunes, Azealia performed Metamorph on the Good Morning America stage. She was wearing a lavender dress and had her hair in a bun. There were two female dancers to her side that danced as Azealia sang into the mic. Azealia later on sang Space Oddity and Fly which were also televised. During the Fly performance, Azealia wore a lavender suit and had her hair in a ponytail with a head mic on so she could dance. Childish Gambino came out during that performance to sing and rap with Azealia. The performance of Fly got the whole audience clapping and dancing. During Space Oddity's performance, Azealia wore a a lavender caftan and had her hair completely down and no dancers joined her on stage, unlike the other performances. A light show happened behind Azealia during this peformance as Azealia stood and sang. The performances have been uploaded onto YouTube. Be sure to buy The Dying Stars today.

Jordin Sparks Performs Double Tap on X Factor (UK)
Recently turned 25 years old, the Season 6 ‘American Idol’ queen sounds confident and commanding as she makes a statement about cheating and hoes. This ‘Double Tap’ is not the popular instagram Hashtag to get likes — thank goodness. In fact, with its low soothing sound, it could be further from that staple of oldies/easy-listening radio. Weird enough, this expose your EX was written by Sparks herself and 2 Chainz. But Sparks makes the song her most memorable one . “You gotta let me know that you wont double tap that hoe” she repeats in the catchy jam
Jordin Sparks haven't been to the UK in a while. Probably since I Am Woman. Jordin Sparks performed her current single "Double Tap" on the X Factor. It was Sparks first time on the show in general and her first time performing an upbeat track to a different audience. Jordin Sparks also looked curious at guest judging on the show some time soon. Maybe the U.S version will work for her and her career. Jordin still holds the title of the YOUNGEST AI winner.
Now Lets talk about her performance. The stage was dark and the instrumental intro of Double Tap played. A screen dropped down showcasing Jordin's best videos and songs. "Yeah I'm faded and I'm on one" Sparks says while in a chair with her legs cross. Halfway through her first verse she gets up and pulls a guy from the crowd and say "Don't be scared to admit it...Seen the looks on your phone....I know" Hook came in and her dancers came in to join her in her choreography. Verse 2 she was dancing in a mirrored glass pyramid. By the hook the Pyramid filled with smoke. 2 Chainz then appeared out the pyramid to do his verse.
Critics called her performance weird and off. They praised her dancing and singing but the overall concept was not her best. The song sold 180,000 + on its debut week better than No Air did. She is striving to build herself up for bigger and better things to happen.
Here is what Jordin had to say about her own performance:
"Very Different for them,I want to focus more on my singing than dancing on the show. Some artist do struggle to keep their singing as good as their show performance. I managed to pull both off thanks to my lovely Mic Headset" Some of the judges was amazed that she grew up and no one knew about it.
Now that Sparks officially set foot on a U.K stage with her new material she is opening even more doors for her to enter. Double Tap is available to be purchased. Also preorders for her new album "Right Here,Right Now" is up on http://www.myplaydirect.com/jordin-sparks/

"Hot Stuff" Premiered on Radio as Avril Lavigne Co-Hosts on The American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest
Avril Talks About Her Ballad Single, Newest Promo Single, Album and many more
1030 words
It was announced last week that Avril Lavigne inked a radio takeover deal with iHeartMedia. For the whole week of her sixth studio album release (January 10-16, 2015), Lavigne will be enjoying an awesome radio deal which stated that she will be having the advantage to take over every Premiere Networks-syndicated CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio) show and all of its digital platforms during the week of Avril’s album launch.
First off on her Radio Takeover deal with iHeartMedia, Lavigne spent her time on studio with Ryan Seacrest to co-host the American Top 40! Check what Lavigne and Seacrest talked about during her guesting stint:
Avril Lavigne co-hosted the American Top 40 this weekend with Ryan Seacrest on Saturday, January 10th. The Pop-Rock singer talked about her latest single "I'll Lie To Myself" and her newly announced promotional single "Hot Stuff", her upcoming concert on "Good Morning America" which also collaborated with her singing contest, and much more. She took time to answer questions by her fans. She even talked about different artists like Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Becky G and Adele.
Ryan Seacrest: We now have with us, The wonderfully talented Avril Lavigne!
Avril Lavigne: Hi everyone who's tuned in to American Top 40! I hope you're all having a good time!
Ryan Seacrest: It is so nice to be having you as our guest co-host this week because we have tons of questions to ask you!
Avril Lavigne: Yeah Ryan, It is my pleasure. I hope those questions are not that hard.
Ryan Seacrest: Don't worry Av, We are sure you'll be able to handle it.
Avril Lavigne: Great then! Let's get started!
Ryan Seacrest: We are very glad to see that you are doing great on your career, And two more days to go we can fully listen to your new album!
Avril Lavigne: Im so ecstatic to wake up each day knowing that my album will be out soon.
Ryan Seacrest: Can you share to us, What should we expect from your album?
Avril Lavigne: My album "Heartfelt Confessions" will be the most personal and most experimental album I have ever released.
Ryan Seacrest: The single "I'll Lie To Myself" is very sad and powerful. Such a great ballad. how did you realize that it is going to be a hit?
Avril Lavigne: Honestly, I really don't have an idea that it could enter the top ten charts on its debut week. I just wanted to release that ballad because it speaks what my heart wants to say.
Ryan Seacrest: Incredible support from different radio stations, tv shows are flooding for your comeback, Did you ever thought you can come back with a bang? You also teamed up with GMA for a contest and concert, right?
Avril Lavigne: I am really honored to see the support from you guys. I felt that I still have a place on this industry. Thanks to my label as well! Good Morning America and I are really proud with the final list of contestants and make sure to check them out on Jan.12!
Ryan Seacrest: Okay, Who among the industry greats, you are fond of?
Avril Lavigne: There's a lot. I like Taylor and Katy a lot. Bruno Mars is my imaginary lover! His voice is so great. And of course, Adele, my good friend who takes the whole world by storm.
Ryan Seacrest: Great, Now lets talk about what Becky G and Ariana Grande tweeted about you last week, What can you say?
Avril Lavigne: First of all, I really dunno why those young girls acts like brats from kindergarten. They are entitled to what they believe in but they should set a good example to their fans. Talking trash to an artist you don't know is pathetic. So I wish they get well soon from their hate illness.
Ryan Seacrest: Woah, Im surprised you did not respond aggressively to them.
Avril Lavigne: Well, I can do that but I am tired from hearing my fans fight them. I don't want my fans to stoop down to their level.
Ryan Seacrest: So is your newest promo single "Hot Stuff" about them?
Avril Lavigne: I would like to clear that. "Hot Stuff" got released today and Its technically not for specific people. Hot Stuff is made because I am alarmed by the constant hate crimes, harrassments and bullying everyone gets right now especially our gay fans. So this song is my way of telling them that it's not bad to stood up for yourself. You are beautiful and more than that. Hot Stuff is about people who receives hate for no reason and how should they react to those imbecile haters. So, if you categorize Becky and Ariana as an Avril hater then yes, Hot Stuff is for them.
Ryan Seacrest: Wow Avril. I am sure people over social media will be reacting to your song positively. Can you tell our audiences on how they can have your latest promo single?
Avril Lavigne: Sure, "Hot Stuff" is now out on every digital retailers and if you have already preordered my album, expect to see "Hot Stuff" automatically added to your playlist.
Ryan Seacrest: Okay, Now we can go to premiere "Hot Stuff" officially right now. Can you be the one to introduce "Hot Stuff"?
Avril Lavigne: Hey everyone, Make sure that you ignore haters and listen to my newest song "Hot Stuff"!
Hot Stuff started playing and it marked as the world premiere for the song on worldwide radio stations. Catch Avril Lavigne tomorrow on American Top 40 once again and don't dare miss her Acoustic performance for her latest hit single "I'll Lie To Myself" live!
Avril Lavigne's "I'll Lie To Myself" is still available globally while Avril Lavigne's "Hot Stuff" is now available on iTunes, amazon and other digital retailers worldwide. VEVO Presents: Azealia Banks//VEVO News Interview

Azealia has done anything and everything to promote the album released just earlier, The Dying Stars. Now, she is doing a VEVO Presents concert which aired on Fuse as well on VEVO. The concert consisted of Azealia performing songs off of The Dying Stars. Along with the VEVO Presents concert, Azealia also did an interview with VEVO for their VEVO News thing where she talked about her favorite music videos and what she wants to do in the future with music videos and if she plans to release anything that will be even more controversial than what Vibes was. During the VEVO Presents Azealia Banks concert thing, she performed Metamorph, Fly, Space Oddity, Crystalline Displays, Dark Matter, Quasar, and Show Me Love. During the performance of Metamorph, which is the video that has gained the most traction, she wore a black leather corset with electrical tape running across her nipples making X's. Along with this she had on handcuffs that were snapped and broken off in the middle. Azealia's performance of Metamorph was very fun and spectacular. There were two dancers on stage and an LED screen behind Azealia. Along with this there was a DJ booth behind her where a DJ spun records and played Metamorph as well as the songs later on. The performance of Metamorph had Azealia voguing throughout it and the dancers following along. It was entirely live and Azealia made sure to never miss or skip a beat, always keeping up with the song. After the performance of Metamorph, Azealia went on to perform Fly, which has the second most amount of views on YouTube at the moment. Azealia performed with Childish Gambino in the same outfit as in the Metamorph performance. The dancers were more calm during this performance but still danced. During the performance of Space Oddity it was very calm and Azealia had on a black trench coat and she stood at the mic and never moved and only sang without any dancers with her. All performances have been uploaded on VEVO and were aired on Fuse. During Azealia's interview she was asked about her favorite music videos she's recorded thus far and she responded with "Vibes' music video was epic. Something truly just killer. I am also very fond of my music video for Free. It just had so much meaning and was so beautiful. The clay mation was something really cool to do and no one else had really done anything like it. Free is my favorite music video ever, definitely. I don't have a least favorite music video, thinking about it. If I had to choose though it'd be the original Paradiso. That was just not exactly what I wanted to happen. It was so... Not me, really. I am glad I got to refilm it with legends like Shawnna and Missy Elliott though. That was so fun." When asked if she has anything controversial like Vibes coming she said "There's one video I think will raise a few eyebrows. You'll have to see what I'm talking about when it's released though. I can't give anything away at the moment." After the interview, Azealia Banks told everyone to subscribe to her on VEVO. Be sure to buy The Dying Stars today.
