I was getting worried with POM and these red updates, so I stopped checking ATRL, popbars, etc for a few days. I went to billboard on Wednesday (the day when the top ten are usually revealed) and saw that Katy had debuted at #2.........
....but then it was revealed that the number one was snatched by...... TOTGA!!!!!! So in essence, she managed to get that 6th number one and have her new single debut at #2! ATRL was a MESS! WPs and bans were flying everywhere! Then I went to go check Cheli's twitter page, and she was so ecstatic, and she came into the Katy thread and started dragging everyone who thought it wouldn't hit number 1 (basically, the majority of us)
Considering the song sold roughly 140k~ in it's first day, it's totally normal for it to be having dark red updates. If it wasn't, then that would mean the song is selling the same amount each day, and that would equal to like 980k debut.
