Leona never had potential to begin with. She never had her own sound or identity as an artists so she was destined to fail from the get. That first album was a fluke.

Her voice wasn't incredible it was just nice. Plus she came out during the electronic phase so she was a different fish in the sea at the time. She knew nothing of technique or personality when it came to singing. She just emulated.
