I would like her to just say something. I can wait, but would like to know when to start saving and when to expect the tour (if she's even planning to tour).

Bye trick. Probably a September 17 release. She really hates her "friends".

Another interesting quote from the article: "Edge and Corson’s RCA holds the #3 position in streaming share thanks to a slew of hit singles from Justin Timberlake, G-Eazy, Sia, ZAYN and P!nk."

I suppose it's a spring release or else they wouldn't even mention it. Maybe a spring release and then combine touring and holidays with Willow. But yeah, what does "bumped" mean? She wanted to release earlier?
But I am little disappointed since I was so sure we would have a fall release and now the wait will be even longer. I mean has anyone had a longer break than this? Even Lily Allen who had "retired" came back earlier than that.

Bumped means the album would come out this year, but her label/team decided for a 17 release.

How reliable are they? Could it possibly be just an assumption?

Uhm, I can see a pattern here.
CTMH - April 4, 2000
Missundaztood - November 20, 2001
Try This - November 11, 2003
IND - April 4, 2006
Funhouse - Oct 28, 2008
TTAL - Sept 18, 2013
P!7 - probably April .... , 2017?
Rose Ave or her side project was released on October 14, 2014.
Hopefully the new single of P! will be out on February just like Stupid Girl.
A new controversial P!nk

No, their articles are reliable and they have trustworthy industry sources.
Still mad she took a 5 year break. Unbelievable. Even if she releases Q1 or 2, she'll flop so hard cause physical is dead and she's nothing on streaming. She had the perfect storm with JLF and the country song to open with a cute number, get some Pop support and sell reasonably well during the holidays. With a 17 release, she might as well release another rose ave. cause her pop career won't do much for her.

Girl, you are overreacting. She just had a Top 5 hit on Pop radio a few months ago. As long as the song is a hit, they'll clearly support her. It's also been barely 4 years since TTAL was released, but it's only been a little over 3 years since she JGMAR (the last hit from that album) fell off the chart. I will say though that it's a good thing she released JLF this year, cause otherwise I would definitely be worried.

Overreacting and super angry.
Oh well, in better news, legendary hymn So What hit number 1 on the Hot 100 8 years ago.

I'm not worried about her success. She has a buying audience and sales still count for more than streaming. Not to mention she'll more than kill it with the tour.
She worked non stop from 2000 to 2014. I think she's earned a break. Not to mention she was still in the public eye with side projects and singles. So she really hasn't even had a break yet.

I'm fine with 2017 as long as she releases good music.
I was one of the few that loved Blow Me, but if she keeps releasing that kind of song or dares to pull another RYG I'll drag her so ****ing hard.
You guys worry too much over sucess, she has a +15 years career and outlasted all her contemporaries, she doesn't need another hit.

P!nk was never an artist that used to capitalize from current success. And I don't think taking a long break would hurt her that much.
And it's not like she's not getting any exposure. Both JLF and STWOF are top 40 on BB HOT 100, are huge on radio and aren't gonna die soon. I know artists who would kill for that succes with an album singles, let alone with side projects.
I think this is also what motivates her to work hard and gain back her auidence. Overexposure was never her thing and it did great stuff for her career too.
It also depends from what she's gonna deliver to us. I don't think she'll go full pop this time again. I can feel it.
Also, for album and tickets to sell, she need HAC and AC support, and I'm sure they won't dump her that easily, since soundtrack song from crappy Disney movie reached #1 on both formats. As for POP, again it depends on the material. I also think they'll kinda be there for her, since she has never been a teen fad or sex selling machine. Sure, age counts as a factor, but many artists have seen huge succes and delivered great albums in their late 30s/early 40s.
I hope this will be P!nk's Ray of Light.

This wait is unbearable. I believe that is has been pushed to next year, we've heard nothing about an album or even the lead single yet. We could hopefully still get the lead single before the end of the year though? But an album is definitely looking on lock for next year now.

I agree. I think the huge success of JGMAR (which for P!nk was a different sort of style for her to be successful with) has maybe pushed her to go into a less poppy direction and possibly release a lead single that isn't a uptempo anthem.
I can imagine she could be struggling for ideas since her last album was all about love and that's what she has been singing about for her past 2 albums so I think she knows she can't come back with another break up anthem or love themed album, at least i hope she knows that.

I suppose she will have enough material from the next months about a Dear mr president 2.0. A song like that would get even more buzz now I suppose.
Btw, I wouldn't be surprised if Mark Ronson will be one of the producers.

eg white would be fantastic but he isn't hip/mainstream/pop enough for her label to let her release his songs as singles or even have more than one of his songs on her album. but... hope dies last.

But wait. If she releases an album in February/March, we could still get a lead single in November or?
