If I were Venus I'd play my heart out and go for the kill because Venus knows that it's her last chance for a slam too (one of the last chances). And I know Serena is better than me so if she really wants it she will have to play the match of her life to snatch it from me. That way if I win, I'm going all the way. If she wins, I did my job as big sis and made her battle ready, a la Wimbledon, for the CYGS

Good point, especially with Mladenovic out. If she were the SF opponent,she'd make good practice for Kvitova (likely) in the F. An uncompetitve match against Keys & Vee + Vinci is terrible practice, and gives Serena a high chance of getting shocked by Petra. Vee playing hard is also decent practice if Vika makes it to the F instead.
The amount of hype for this Serena/Venus match. Even the local sports radio station was talking about it, and they NEVER talk about tennis. And all this is happening when we know the match will be a mess as usual.
