I listened to the demo like a hundred times before the song came out. It sounded so good when I heard it properly for the first time

I remember watching the MV for the first time when I got home from school. I was so amazed.

God, I remember the first time I heard it too. I saw an ad for it on MySpace () and thought "Well, I liked Paparazzi and Poker Face so I might as well check it out." *
The rest is history.
*I also remember seeing the TFM cover and thinking "Wow she really likes to talk about being famous"
For an artist with one of the best voices in the industry, she should really showcase it in her songs. A slower or at least mid-tempo song that is carried by her vocals (rather than the production) would do wonders for her image. Every legendary pop star from Michael Jackson to Madonna has had ballads, oftentimes some of their biggest hits, that show a different side of them. Later in her career, like with any artist, Gaga's voice will likely not be as good and she won't be able to pull off ballads as well. And I don't mean a twangy, screamy ballad like You and I. Releasing a song like The Lady is a Tramp or something where her voice is not overshadowed by the production and loud dance beats could really change the perception the public has of her.
