Yeah, I heard that from MartianLeaks on Twitter and he's very reliable.

I could go start a rumor that Beyonces 2nd single is being released in 5 days and that **** would spread like wildfire all over Twitter and be brought back here within the hour. I really wish some of you would think for yourselves and not take everything you hear so seriously.

N-Te-Way there is NO WAY in hell Beyonce would give up on a single before performing it live or releasing the video. She debuted at #33, which is her second highest debut, meaning the road to the top is closer than all her others have been. What type of naive asshole would think her label has the power to move on from single one to single two without her permission when they had to be stalked and insulted by us to release the first single which probably needed her confirmation as well. GROW UP!

The thing is, Martian supposedly gets his stuff from Sony. That means he has the label's perspective, not Beyonce & her team's. Two separate entities with two different ideas.

How many times have artists been doubted by their labels for doing something risky? This is no different. Columbia also thought Naughty Girl should've been the first single off of Dangerously In Love & Beyonce went ahead with Crazy In Love. ****, Beyonce even said herself on the intro to CIL on her Vegas DVD that even after all her hard work with Destiny's Child the label still didn't trust her with her own solo material & said she had ZERO hits on the alberm ("I had five~"). We all see how that turned out. Madonna also struggled with Warner Bros despite being a LEGEND so that's why she left them after Hard Candy and ran over to LiveNation.

So, to me, it's kinda believable that the label doesn't want to take the risk but Beyonce+her team said "**** you" and are going ahead with Girls n-t-way. The only thing the label has control over really is budget, but Beyonce can spend her own money (see: B'Day video anthology, another thing Columbia didn't believe in but Beyonce+her team went ahead with anyway).

The only thing I think is false is that they keep saying Bey's team wants to call Girls a buzz single. It's not her, it's Columbia who's scared.

I'm not sure why you guys want her to support this single. Wouldn't her promotional efforts be put to better use if she performed a song the public... likes better? If it doesn't rebound and stabilize at a respectable position after the video I think it's in their best interest to sweep this under the rug.

2) Not e-thug each and everytime an "insider" drops a rumour (and eventually e-thug if the rumour is actually false)

Beyonce always wants to try something different & ppl are just followers.
If the song debuted @ #1, the song would magically "warm up" to ppl that continuously came in here to announce how much they hated it. It was the same way with Single Ladies.

It's like, she's her own artist instead of the label's puppet. The label isn't always right. If it were to flop it wouldn't be the end of her career anyway. If she believes in it then stans should too.
