Okay guys, I have a dilemma and I need help.

Work is doing a Christmas party on the 19th of December at this hotel place and it costs £50 to get in but because we work at the company it's only £25.

I want to go, but no one who I work with in my small team are going... So I don't want to be there alone with people I haven't really spoken to as much.

BUT. It's a three course meal and a bottle of champagne plus a disco () until 1am.. I think it would be good to show that I'm interested in getting to know others and might help improve my chances of getting offered a perm contract once my contract is up in January

What would you do?

Eh. I mean I've had small talk with a few people.

But I haven't seen their names on the list that you sign up to either...

it's like the people I've spoken to aren't going.

Hopefully they sign up, I don't know when the deadline is.

I might ask a few people tomorrow.

Apart of me is worried that if i do go and drink, I'll get drunk and act like an idiot in front of everyone...
