Guns and Roses' chorus is PURE TRASH ! It would have been an amazing song if she changed the chorus. I usually don't like her repeating words for chorus.

I think I enjoy and can separate each of the albums without comparing (I include Paradise as a separate album) is because I treat them as a movie. I think they have such different running themes and musical influences that they're different creatures and give me different vibes whenever I listen to them.

So I separate it this way:

BTD- Brooklyn heiress in the summer of the 1960s with elements of hip hop.
Paradise- The Original Sin story with elements of a strip club in Queens.
Ultraviolence- Daddy's girl in the 90s mixed in with some grunge.

Obviously I have to listen to all of Honeymoon to figure it out, but for some reason I feel like it's the most 'modern' sounding. Kinda gives me the vibe of a newlywed woman who expected her life to turn out like a movie.

That said I find myself listening to songs from Ultraviolence the most. But that probably down to it being the most recent release, and possibly also because I'm a 90s kid and that's an obvious influence.

I honestly love the repetitive nature of Guns and Roses. I think it adds to the mood of the protagonist reminiscing on a past lover; she's fixated on something that was dear to his heart. G&R and The Other Woman are the only songs that leave me feeling genuinely sad on the entire album.

Whats the one album song you found yourself grow to love from Lana after not feeling it at the start? And what's the one you look most forward to on Honeymoon?

Mine is Shades of Cool. Not that I hated it, it was just the one I'd skip most often.

The one I think I'm looking most forward to is 24.

Mine is Shades of Cool as well. I wasn't feeling it when it was first released as a single, but as I played the album over and over I grew to love it so, so much. It's beautiful, probably my favorite Lana song. I spent too much time last summer just lying on the floor and wailing the lyrics to that song.

Based on song titles alone, Music to Watch Boys To, Freak, Art Deco and Salvatore sound very interesting.
