PS: some of y'all keep talking **** about Interscope when this label stuck by her for 6 years flop after flop. They believed in Nicole and gave her too many chances. She got 5 flop US singles and 4 shelved albums under her belt (HNIN, Nobody Can Change Me era, Killer Love US, Boomerang era). She was lucky she wasn't dropped by 2010. No other lsn'cInterscope wasn't perfect but they tried, Nicole's persona and sound wasn't very interesting at the time and we can't just blame all that on them. Hell, her interviews used to be very boring.
It all boils down to them not having the great marriage imo. The label and Nicole weren't great fit for each other and the partnership obviously had issues so it's neither their fault really.

yeah I agree with a lto of your parts. I mean most Nicole fans are like in heaven and see the `" great" start of this era as a blessing and I agree, but Interscope wasn't that bad. They booked her on the biggest stages, let her work with the best producers and had some kind of faith in her for like 6 years. While most people in her positions would have been dropped already

You know what happened with Ciara, Karmin and Avril, right? Yes their records came out in the US, but they had so much trouble. Pushbacks, no promoted material in certain territories, semi-okay US promo etc.
I don't think Nicole was leaving Interscope 100% on her own terms, I can see faith being lost on both sides. Both ffed up, Nicole and Interscope.
